I have a confession to make. I’m a cleaning JUNKIE. I’m not as bad as the people you see on TLC, vacuuming 80 times a day or anything, but I certainly hate clutter and soap scum and dust and FREAKIN’ DOG HAIR and on and on.  I read blogs dedicated to homemaking & cleaning, always looking for new ideas to tackle the tough stuff.  Oh my days, I sound like a commercial.

DORK!

I have another confession to make. I avoid cleaning the shower doors in our master bath because it’s so. much. work. They are supposed to be clear glass.  I can easily go a month (or two), having cleaned the tubby standy inny part 7-8 times, but those damn shower doors are the bane of my existence.  Right now you can’t easily see through them for soap scum. It kills me to admit that on the internet, but there it is.

I found this grapefruit & salt trick this morning.

Is it sick that I just want to go out right now at 6 a.m. to buy grapefruits?

That’s not all. I found this mattress cleaning trick and even though I have no idea where to buy lavender oil, I can’t wait to try this out either.

Most of the ways I clean my house are with as few chemicals as possible. My go to staples include vinegar, lemons, baking soda and good old fashioned elbow grease.  I find cleaning therapeutic, especially when I can crank the tunes and dance too. Shiny toilets and gleaming floors make me stupidly happy.

I’ve been sleeping like a newborn. Like, at every opportunity.

I’ve given up on many fitness goals just because I couldn’t finish the hour. I’ve walked out of the gym before the class was over, slumped into my car and very nearly cried over feeling like a failure.

I’ve been nauseous.

I’ve taken a pregnancy test, convinced I was with child. (I’m not.)

Finally, I dragged my sorry ass to the doctor and told him everything. He ordered bloodwork.

My iron is low.

I can’t start iron pills until my antibiotics are finished on Friday, but at least there’s a reason I feel like a sorry sack.

My doc & chiropractor have ordered me to stay away from running – give my body a break.

I’ve gained weight.

I feel useless.

I’m just so damned tired.

In other news, I got 91% on my extra course I took ahead of next year, so yay.

I fell asleep twice while writing this on my phone.
