Gonna Go Get Mah Hair Did, Etc.

Before:

Mostly I straighten it, like in the last post, but it is naturally this way.  I’m tired of the colour, that seems to keep getting lighter and lighter.  Going darker today.  Chestnutty, deep brown.  And I might chop off enough to make myself cry, I don’t know yet.  I kinda love having long hair because I am forever traumatized by this.

My best friend is coming with me.  The one that had a baby a little while ago.  She’s got a massage booked and SO deserves it. I need this girl time since it’s been a really weird couple of weeks around here, especially with being down and out with the swine flu for nearly 10 days (at least we can’t catch that again!).  I also need someone to come and wash my floors because I so don’t have time (or the desire).  I mentioned that to my Granny and she said, “The day I call a cleaning service is the day your grandfather would sell this house!”  I know myself well enough that I would clean before the cleaning service came over anyway so I guess it’s all on me to find the gumption to wash the damn floors.  Tell me again why we picked such a dark wood?

Granny and Papa come tomorrow to see my brother’s new baby girl (and us too) and so it’s gonna be a busy weekend!

I’ll post the after picture here asap when I get time, and answer whatever questions are left down there.  Later gators.

I’m digging your hair just as it is, but then again it’s not on my head!

I’m sure you’ll look beautiful as always. You are one HOT 45-year-old.

    Enjoy your girl time.

I get traumatized every time my younger daughter comes home with short hair. She has such nice thick hair that she does a pretty good job of maintaining. At least it grows back.

My older daughter, on the other hand, has very fine hair that she doesn’t even like to brush. Yet I can’t even recall her having short hair.

    Enjoy!

You regret having dark floors and I regret having light ones. I’m always complaining that the floors need to be cleaned. They should create a perfect colour of floor – one that hides all dirt types.

Good luck on the hair cut and dye.

Nobody’s ever happy with their floors lol. I hate our hardwood, but I’d hate carpets too. Haha!

You’re gorgeous, by the way :)

You natural hair is gorgeous, I would love a few of them wavey curls. I am so with you on the dark wood floors, they are a bitch to kept clean. Mine need to be cleaned badly but as thats supposed to be my husbands job, I refuse to do it. I’ll probably just nag him until it gets done!

Yes. Gorgeous, where’s the after, and after seeing you here & reading that you’re a M-L in Yummie Tummie, I think, GOSH! She can’t be that big! I’m a size 12 & feel pretty awesome. BUT, if the doc gave the go-ahead for 49, fair enough. ;p
