I know it’s a dumb song that I picked for this video but seriously. I’m shredding The Hairshirt, I’m back to running, and I have my ass in gear again in terms of taking care of ME. Plus this song is kinda cute and makes me happy and dancey and stuff.
I’ve been through a lot of shit in my life. Now it seems I’m at this crossroads, I’m choosing to do what I want, and what I’ve wanted for a long time, is a nose ring. I’m doing what I want. So there it is.
Granny’s gonna kill me. Ha.
Thanks to many of you on Twitter for all your support, and a big special thanks to Tanis and Shannon for lending me their big brass balls for a day. I already feel stronger.

I still remember that when I got mine pierced (over five! years ago, holy crap) a single tear rolled down my cheek. And then I started laughing.

Hurt like a sumbitch, didn’t it? I got mine done two weeks ago and then promptly forgot about it and pulled it out that night with a towel. Then I passed out putting it back in.
I’ve birthed four children with no pain meds, but I can’t put a nose ring back in without passing out. Glad you faired a bit better!

I didn’t think it hurt after the 3 seconds of pain. BUT! I pulled it half out in my sleep (scratched my nose) and MAN OH MAN I DIED putting it back in.

All I could think of is when you have a tiny little pimple on your nose and you try to pop it and you’re sure you’ll die from the pain. That’s GOT to hurt. But you did it!

I held my breath and winced when she stuck the needle in (says the girl with four tattoos and plans for a fifth). I’ve contemplated getting my nose pierced for six years, but after watching this, I think I might be too much of a wuss. *hangs head in shame*

I lose nose piercings, but always too chicken. Looks like it hurt but you fought. Thought I possibly saw one tear. I think it’s the anticipation of pain that makes it harder. Looks great!

so i FINALLY got to watch this. i’ve never seen someone get their nose pierced. you make it look like it isn’t that bad.
and honestly? you are rocking that piercing. i will admit to being surprised that it doesn’t take away from how pretty you are without it.
